Hobbies For Happiness
For reading this week I made a poster on Hobbies For Happiness. In the poster I put down different hobbies and some writing on how hobbies can be good for you. Surprisingly I found this topic very interesting Because I learned that hobbies can have a huge impact on your mental and physical health.
Here is a screenshot of my work. I have also learned that people with different hobbies would be happy in different ways, for example. Cooking has shown to boost confidence in people, garding has shown to decrease stress. And also doing something nice for others, spending time with others and learning a new skill gives people satisfaction and happiness in their life. I hope that this blog gives you an understanding on how hobbies can help with happiness and with issues people have in their lives.
So whats your hobby?

Writing work for T3 week 6 ( I made a Haiku)
For Writing this week we had to make a poem, we had different choices on what our poem could be like. Here is the options we got, Rhymed poetry, Riddle Poem, Shape Poem, or a Haiku. I chose the haiku, In a Haiku you just have to have three lines ( first line has to have 5 syllables and the middle line has to have 7 syllables and the last line also 5 syllables), with 17 syllables in total. How to Write a Haiku in 3 Easy Steps. Here's a link to a google drawing with more info on how to write a Haiku.
I chose a Haiku 1, because I have never done it before and 2, because it looks easy but it's very irritating when you have to fit so many syllables in such a short sentence. Here is a screenshot of my work.
So have you ever made a haiku before?

My very cool title,(Writing)
For writing this week I have learnt that there are three types of sentences. These are simple, compound and complex sentences.
A simple sentence is a sentence that only contains one main verb. For example, he ran to the park.
A compound sentence has more than one verb. The sentence has at least two major independent clauses. They can be joined by a semicolon, or a comma and coordinating conjunction such as ‘but’, ‘and’ and ‘so’: example, Jake realized his tire was flat, so he quickly went to pump up his tire
A complex sentence is a sentence that contains subordinate clauses that helps add more detail and information to a sentence. The subordinate clause can go at the start, in the middle or at the end of the sentence: For example;
Bob wanted to swim in the ocean, even though the waves and wind were rough.
Bob, even though the waves and wind were rough wanted to swim in the ocean
Even though the waves and wind were rough Bob wanted to swim in the ocean
