The letter from parihaka

                       Dear Sir John

Over the past few weeks we have been learning to write both formal and informal letters. Here is a example of a letter I wrote about a political event in New Zealand past.

Dear Sir John.
I am so ashamed that you sent your soldiers to come and destroy our village. We didn't even fight your soldiers back and we even gave bread to the soldiers. I am so angry to have to write a letter to you  I strongly believe that you should stand down your men.

   Sincerely Dejon
